These three characters come from my own little alternate universe of the Mega Man series. One that I'd been toying with in my head for years as fan fiction fodder, but I lacked the attention span to get anywhere on that. This is what I came up with instead.
Basic concept is that these three, Air, Crash, and Quick, are basically rogue Wilybots, since the man they served was an idiot who only kept his older creations around as security for his fortresses. They no longer have Wily's failsafe control chips in place. Air's were damaged by accident in the fight against Megaman. Crash and Quick's were damaged later on purpose by Air to disable them. The disabling of Crash's caused a complete memory wipe up to that point, but Quick had no real side effects. Quick and Crash are unlikely to be seen around in their armor, preferring the casual look. They both take advantager of this to travel freely to take care of getting supplies and stuff like that, though usually one stays back with Air at all times. Air, however, is usually stuck at home due to being too noticable, toying with some little projects of his and making sure that the other two know what supplies they need to find for repairs.
Basic Bios of each:
Quick: The leader and caretaker for the group, Quick is the one primarily responsible for them deciding to leave Wily. They had the freedom to leave before, but until Wind Man showed up and decided to start going after Air, they had no real desire to leave. Quick has changed in personality slightly since the chips were disbled, gaining a sensse of responsibility and a more serious attitude. Extremely cautious in trusting those outside his little group, Quick is also highly protective and will do anything to keep Air and Crash safe.
Crash: Irresponsible and easygoing, Crash is often found drunk aroung their current home. He cares a lot for the others, and is extremely loyal. For some odd reason, when the control chips were disabled for him and he lost his memory, Crash started to drink heavily, regularly needing repairs from the corrosion the alcohol does to the systems.
Air: The real oddball of the bunch, Air suffered from a complete personality change due to damage done to his personailty matrix. Rather than the loudmouth stupid asshole he was before, Air has turned into a timid, skittish, and surprisingly intelligent individual. Easily bullied and tormented, the reason Air has lasted so long is the protection of his two younger siblings. Now, he has random problems that are caused by a damaged memory system from the same fight that disabled the chips. He has no memory of what he was like before this happened, and now randomly has bits and pieces of recent memory data randomly getting deleted, or lapsed(as he calls it).
